Mill Bank Surgery

With effect from January next year, the practice will no longer be sending or receiving fax messages and documentation.
The Government have instructed all practices that any fax equipment is to be phased out by April 2020. This measure will involve us being monitored on a quarterly basis to ensure we are completely "fax free" by this deadline.
We will therefore be decommissioning our fax machine by the end of December this year and will be unable to accept any repeat prescription requests by the fax method. We would ask patients and organisations where possible, to use the more effective and secure method of emails (preferably via our on-line services). We can however, still accept requests in person or by post.
We strongly encourage our staff, patients and visitors to walk, cycle, and use public transport where possible as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Mill Bank Surgery is located in Stafford on Water Street which is just off Mill Street or the junction with Tenterbanks (near Stafford Park). Please see maps below.
Public Transport information is available from the Traveline website.
We have ramp access through the main surgery entrance and good access to our reception area, treatment and consultation rooms for disabled patients. Toilets are provided next to the waiting room, these are accessible for the disabled. Baby changing facilities are available.
There are dedicated disabled car parking bays allocated in the car park.
Please contact reception if you require any further assistance.
In order to help those patients attending their appointments and being unable to park on the car park we use a car park management company to observe the car park during surgery opening hours. Any vehicle parked illegally will be issued with a Parking Charge Notice.
We would therefore ask patients to leave promptly after visiting the surgery and not to leave vehicles any longer than is necessary on the car park.
Please ensure you have entered your vehicle registration details and your appointment time, on the sheet provided at reception. These details will be used by the monitoring company when patrolling the car park.
Vehicles will only receive a parking charge notice after a set amount of time when the car park patroller will check with the surgery staff prior to issuing a ticket.

We welcome all constructive viewpoints whether positive or negative.
