    MILL BANK SURGERY PATIENT INFORMATION AS AT JULY 2020

    We would like to say thank you for working with us during this difficult time to keep both you and our staff safe.

    Please contact the surgery BEFORE attending for any reason. We are asking patients not to attend the surgery unless you have spoken to a member of our team first.

    We are still continuing to triage in the first instance for patients, with either the Doctor or a Specialist Practitioner, and this will be by telephone or video.

    Repeat prescription requests can be posted through our letter box to the left hand side of the main entrance doors

    From Thursday 2 July we re-commenced our extended access service between the hours of 1830 and 2000, this session is for telephone consultations only

    If you have a medical query you can use the Patient Access app – this allows you to send messages and order your repeat medications. We have disabled the appointment booking facility at the moment. The following link will enable you to register for Patient Access : https://app.patientaccess.com/registration/create

    Or you can phone the surgery on 01785 258348 and a member of our team will either arrange a telephone consultation with a clinician for you or they will send doctor a note and they will get back to you (Please ensure we have your correct telephone details). The clinician will arrange a telephone or video consultation or make other arrangements with you if they feel they need to see you in person to assess your query.

    If an arrangement is made for you to attend a face-to-face appointment, we ask that you please attend at your appointment time and NOT BEFORE as we have restrictions in our Waiting Room on how many patients can be allowed into the building at any one time. You will be allowed into the building at your appointment time and asked to use the hand sanitiser and to take a seat on a designated chair. You will then be called through to your appointment the usual way via the calling in screen.

    Mill Bank Surgery is asking all patients and visitors attending the practice to wear a face covering to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus.     We are still posting out all sick notes (sick notes for self isolation are arranged through 111, not from the surgery).
